Most often, the cause of inflammatory processes in the female genital organs are infectious agents (including sexually transmitted ones) – bacteria, viruses, fungi. Their introduction and reproduction contributes to the disturbed balance of the vaginal microflora.
The normal microflora of the vagina is represented mainly by lactic acid bacteria – lactobacilli. If, under the influence of certain facts (decreased immunity, endocrine and hormonal disorders, taking antibiotics, frequent change of sexual partners, non-compliance with hygiene rules, etc.), the proportion of lactobacilli in the vaginal microflora decreases, then the number of pathogenic microbes that cause inflammation of the mucosa increases.

Symptoms of vaginal infections mainly depend on the stage and form of the disease. The most common symptom is vaginal discharge. In addition to discharge, itching and burning in the vulva, swelling and redness of the vaginal mucosa, discomfort during intercourse and urination are often observed. Vaginal infections often cause inflammation of the pelvic organs (uterus, ovaries), which leads to uterine bleeding, infertility, premature birth, pregnancy and childbirth complications. Currently, non-hormonal vaginal creams and moisturizers with estrogen-like properties are recommended as first-line therapy to relieve the symptoms of genitourinary atrophy. The main component of such a product is hyaluronic acid, which helps to moisturize and increase elasticity.

– in the case of vaginal infections, use one capsule once a day for 10 days.
